Senior Pet Check list

Take your pet for a senior check

Take your pet to the vet for a check-up at least once a year after the age of 7*. Remember a once per year veterinary check-up is equivalent to you visiting your doctor once every 7 years!

Your vet and veterinary health care team have all the expertise, skills and tools to detect and treat age-related diseases. They can answer your questions about caring for your senior pet, and advise you on appropriate diet and exercise routines.

To get the most out of your pet’s appointment, complete our Senior Pet Health Checklist and take it along to your vet.

*5 years for large and giant breed dogs - dogs over 25Kg bodyweight
