Our aging Rottweiler has been in pain due to cancer and we fed her (and naturally the two other dogs) rice and chicken mixed with pellets. They’ve not been eating all of their food and I was shocked that they would leave bits of chicken and rice in their bowls. Yesterday my husband gave them the Hills I/D canned dog food with their pellets… and they licked their bowls clean. Never thought I would see the day where dogs choose dog food over rice and chicken.
